Glucosyltransferase that uses UDP-glucose as the sugar donor to elongate alpha-(1->4)-glucans. Is involved in the biosynthesis of both 6-O-methylglucosyl lipopolysaccharides (MGLP) and glycogen. May also use ADP-glucose as substrate.
