Description
Receptor for dopamine. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. In terms of antagonist responses, would be classed with the D2-like dopamine receptor group. Mediates the effect of dopamine on the inhibition of locomotion. Acts as an antagonist of dop-1.
Family
Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
