Function
Probable component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle (By similarity). The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins (By similarity). Required for the metaphase to anaphase transition in meiosis (PubMed:17237515, PubMed:20944012). Plays a role in the segregation of DNA and centrioles during meiosis in male germ cells (PubMed:20944014).
