Involved in the modification of the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) inner core. Catalyzes the transfer of a galacturonic acid (GalA) residue to the 4-position of mannose residue of the LPS inner core, using dodecaprenyl phosphate-GalA as the donor substrate. Seems to act after the other GalA transferases RgtA and RgtB.
