Function
Involved in the modification of the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) inner core. Catalyzes the transfer of a galacturonic acid (GalA) residue to the 4-position of the outer Kdo (3-deoxy-D-manno-octulosonic acid) residue of the LPS inner core, using dodecaprenyl phosphate-GalA as the donor substrate. GalA addition by RgtA is required for RgtB activity.
