FPRL1 inhibitory protein
Staphylococcus aureus (strain Newman)
May be involved in countering the first line of host defense mechanisms. Impairs the leukocyte response to FPRL1 agonists by binding directly to host FPRL1. Exerts, in vitro, anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting calcium mobilization and cell migration toward chemoattractants.
Belongs to the CHIPS/FLIPr family.
