Effector of immune deficiency pathway (Imd) acting either downstream of, or at the level of, the NF-kappa-B factor Relish (Rel). Not part of the Toll pathway (PubMed:18066067). NF-kappa-B factor Relish (Rel) cofactor that orchestrates NF-kappa-B factor Relish (Rel) transcriptional selectivity by recruiting the Osa-containing-SWI/SNF-like Brahma complex (BAP) through bap60 interaction, leading to activation a subset of NF-kappa-B factor Relish (Rel) effector genes (PubMed:25180232).
