Description
The carbon monoxide dehydrogenase (CODH) oxidizes carbon monoxide coupled, via CooF, to the reduction of a hydrogen cation by a hydrogenase (probably CooH). CooF is required in stoichiometric amounts in vitro for anchoring CODH to the membrane as well as for conveying the electrons to the hydrogenase.
