Effector that interacts with isoforms of host protein phosphatase type 1c (PP1c), mimicking a regulatory subunit and causing their re-localization within the host nucleus (PubMed:26822079). The holoenzymes formed with PP1c isoforms act to promote late blight by attenuating jasmonic acid (JA)- and salicylic acid (SA)-mediated transcriptional responses of the host plant (PubMed:26822079).
